Beckmannia
Beckmannia
a genus of perennial grasses of the family Gramineae. The laterally flattened spikelets contain two flowers each, one of which is frequently reduced. The spikelets on short pedicels are gathered in two rows into small one-sided ears, forming a one-sided spikelike panicle. There are two species in Europe, Asia, and North America. They are fodder crops.
