Buribai

an urban-type settlement in Khaibullin Raion, Bashkir ASSR. Situated on the Tanalyk River (tributary of the Ural), 68 km north of the railroad station Sara (on the Orenburg-Orsk line). Population, 6, 600 (1968). The industries of Buribai include the mining of chalcopyrite ore and a concentrating factory.
