释义 | Burke, James LeeBurke, James Lee(1936– ) writer; born in Houston, Texas. He studied at the University of Southwest Louisiana (1955–57), and the University of Missouri (B.A. 1959; M.A. 1960). He worked as a surveyor, reporter, social worker, teacher, and for the U.S. Forest Service and the Job Corps Conservation Center in Kentucky. A writer of short stories and novels, he is best known for his series of mystery novels featuring his Cajun police detective, Dave Robicheaux, as in A Stained White Radiance (1992). |
