Cuchilla de Grande

a highland in eastern Uruguay. Maximum altitude, 299 m. Cuchilla de Grande is composed of granite. The eastern and southern slopes are steep, and the western one is gradual and cut by broad valleys. The ridge is covered by subtropical savanna vegetation interspersed with forests of evergreen and deciduous trees and shrubs.
