B-DNA

B-DNA

a form of DNA in which the helix is right-handed and the overall appearance is long and thin.

B-DNA

The fully hydrated right-handed helical form of DNA seen in vivo; it is a sequence-dependent local variation in the structure of the DNA helix, which influences groove width, helical twist, mechanical rigidity, bending and resistance to bending.

B-DNA

the classical configuration of DNA with a right-handed double helix and 10 nucleotides per turn of the helix. see DNA STRUCTURE.
