Digora Hollow

a mountain hollow in the Severnaia Ossetiia ASSR. Located near the source of the Urukh River, between the Glarnyi (or Vodorazdel’nyi) and Skalistyi Ranges of the Greater Caucasus, at the eastern extreme of the Sugan Range. The altitude of the bottom is from 1,300 to 1,500 m. Pine and birch forests and, on the mountain slopes, subalpine meadows can be found.
