cervical radiculopathy

Any disorder of the roots of one or more spinal nerves in the neck region. The condition usually causes pain in the neck and one arm, and sensory or motor loss or changes in the reflexes in the arm. The commonest causes are foraminal encroachment on the nerve from CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS (70 to 75%), and herniation of the nucleus pulposus of a disk (20 to 25%).
