Exadata

A database machine and storage server from Oracle. Using the Oracle Database, Exadata was initially designed with HP hardware for data warehousing. Incorporating the Sun Oracle Database Machine, Exadata 2 was launched in 2009 as a solution for both data warehousing and online transaction processing (OLTP). Available in half, full and multi-rack configurations, Exadata systems use Intel Xeon processors and InfiniBand channels. See database machine and InfiniBand.

Oracle Exadata Racks
