Deinau

an urban-type settlement, the center of Deinau Raion, Chardzhou Oblast, Turkmen SSR. It is situated in the Amu Darya Valley, 3 km from the Denev railroad station (on the Chardzhou-Kungrad line). Its population is 6,000 (1970). It is the site of a dairy.
