Location:4 miles west of Glen Rose on Farm Road 205, in the north central part of the state.
Facilities:Campsites with water and electricity hookups, primitive campsites, showers, restrooms, day-use group facility, picnic areas, hiking trails, nature trail, bridle trails, bike trails, interpretive center (é), amphitheater, park store, playground.
Activities:Camping, fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking.
Special Features:Eastward-dipping limestones, sandstones, and mudstones, deposited from approximately 113 million years ago along the shorelines of an ancient sea, form the geological setting for the park area. The park contains some of the best-preserved dinosaur tracks in the world. The tracks are preserved in the riverbed, so visitors should call ahead to check on river conditions.
