Location:On the Pennsylvania/New Jersey border, 90 miles from Philadelphia and 64 miles from Newark.

Special Features:This scenic area preserves relatively unspoiled land on both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania sides of the Middle Delaware River. The 40-mile river segment flows through the famous gap in the Appalachian Mountains. The park sponsors a craft village and several environmental education centers.
