Doroninskoe Lake

a lake without outlets in Chita Oblast, RSFSR, with area varying from 3.7 to 4.8 sq km. Median depth, 4 m; maximum depth, 6.5 m. The bottom of the lake is covered with a layer of dark gray silt saturated with soda. The soda crystallizes on the ice in winter.
