Location:At the corner of Ponce De Leon and Burt Parks Road, 5 miles north of DeLand on US 17.
Facilities:Picnic tables, 4 pavilions (2 with electrical service), restaurant,food concessions, nature trails, interpretive exhibits, boat ramp,canoe, kayak, and paddleboat rentals, Eco/History boat tours,playground, restrooms (é).
Activities:Boating, canoeing/kayaking, freshwater fishing, swimming, snorkeling, hiking, wildlife viewing.
Special Features:De Leon Springs, a second-magnitude spring, delivers 19 million gallonsof water daily. In the 1880s the springs became a winter resort, wheretourists were promised "a fountain of youth impregnated with adeliciously healthy combination of soda and sulphur."
