Special Features:Part of the state park system since 1935, Fort Clinch is one of thebest-preserved 19th Century forts in the US. Although no battles werefought here, it was garrisoned during both the Civil War and theSpanish-American War. Tours of the fort are held daily, with periodreenactments that depict garrison life.
