Special Features:Park is deeply rooted in the historical era of four-time US presidentFranklin D. Roosevelt. Seeking a place for treatment after he wasstricken with polio in 1921, Roosevelt traveled to Warm Springs andbuilt his Little White House, now a state historic site (see separateentry). Several park structures, including a stone swimming pool, werebuilt by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s.
