Bzhedukhs

one of the Adygei (Circassian) tribes. The descendants of the Bzhedukhs constitute the numerical majority of the Adygei population. They live in the Adygei Autonomous Oblast (mainly in Teuchezh Raion). They have preserved their own Bzhedukh dialect. The Bzhedukh believers are Muslim Sunnites. Their chief occupations are farming and cattle raising.
