Dynamic Force Analysis
Dynamic Force Analysis
a branch of mechanics dealing with the solution of dynamic problems by analytic or graphic methods of statics. Dynamic force analysis is based on d’Alembert’s principle, which states that equations of motion of bodies can be written in the form of statics equations, if the forces of inertia are combined with the forces and constraints actually acting upon a body. Methods of dynamic force analysis are used in solving a number of problems in dynamics, particularly the dynamics of machines and mechanisms.
