Eterikan

a strait between the Malyi and Bol’shoi Liakhov islands of the Novosibirskie Islands. The strait connects the Laptev and East Siberian seas. It has a length of approximately 30 km, a width of 5 km at its narrowest point, and depths ranging from 5 to 8 meters. The shores are low-lying. For the greater part of the year, the strait is covered with ice.
