FOS proteins regulate cell proliferation, differentiation and transformation, and may be associated with apoptosis. FOSL2 controls osteoclast survival and size; it forms a heterodimer with JUN, activates LIF transcription and activates CEBPB transcription in PGE2-activated osteoblasts. |
