Dirac covariants

[di′rak kō′ver·ē·əns] (quantum mechanics) Quantities which behave as a scalar, a pseudoscalar, a vector, an axial vector, or a second-rank tensor under Lorentz transformations, and whose elements consist of basis elements of the Dirac gamma algebra multiplied by the Dirac wave function on the right and its adjoint on the left.
