Cabbage Palm
Cabbage Palm (Roystonea olerácea, formerly Oreodoxa oleráced), a palm (up to 40 m high) with pinnate leaves (up to 8 m long). It grows wild in the Antilles and in Honduras and is cultivated in the tropics. The cabbage palm’s tender and juicy terminal bud is used for food.
