Customs Modernization Act Customs Modernization ActLegislation in the United States, passed in 1993, that sought to improve enforcement of customs and audits. At the time, it was one of the most sweeping changes to U.S. Customs in more than 200 years. The Act, which is commonly called the Mod Act, was part of larger legislation to bring the U.S. into compliance with the North American Free Trade Agreement. |
