A small vessel vasculitis that primarily affects dermal postcapillary venules, which is not associated with systemic vasculitis. Cutaneous leukocytoclastic angiitis is usually uniepisodic, resolves spontaneously in weeks to months, and is often drug-related.Aetiology
Allopurinol, hydantoins, penicillins, propylthiouracil, pyrazolones, quinolones, retinoids, sulfonamides.
Management
Antihistamines, NSAIDs, corticosteroids.
