Established: Authorized on October 11, 2000. The site is managed by the NationalPark Service and operated by the National First Ladies'Library.
Location:Located at the Saxton McKinley House in downtown Canton, Ohio.
Facilities:Gift shop and research library (available by scheduled arrangement only).
Activities:Costumed docents conduct tours of the historic Ida Saxton McKinley homeand exhibits highlight the McKinley's story, display imagesandbelongings of United States First Ladies, and reveal theirsupportingrole in the lives of US Presidents.
Special Features:Park was established to preserve and interpret the role and history ofFirst Ladies and other notable women in American history. Twoproperties, the home of First Lady Ida Saxton McKinley and theseven-story 1895 City National Bank Building, are preserved at thesite.
