Location:In the Saint Charles Historic District in Saint Charles County (5thStreet exit north off I-70, then right on Booneslick and left on MainStreet).

Special Features:Missouri's first legislators met in this restored Federal-style rowbuilding to reorganize Missouri's territorial government into a statesystem. Sessions were held June 4, 1821, through October 1, 1826, whenthe new capitol in Jefferson City became ready for use. Governmentalchambers, two residences, a general store, and a carpenter shop havebeen restored to their 1820s appearance.
