Copper Oxychloride

 

(cupric hydrochloroxide), 3Cu(OH)2·CuClH2O, a fungicide—that is, a preparation used in the control of plant diseases. Copper oxychloride is used, for example, to combat the pathogens that cause leaf spot of sugar beets, late blight of potato and tomato, Septoria leaf spot, apple and pear scab, fruit rot of apple and pear trees, and downy mildew of grapes.
