Dzhergalan

an urban-type settlement in Issyk-Kul’ Ob-last, Kirghiz SSR. It is situated in the eastern part of the Issyk-Kul’ depression, 60 km from Przheval’sk and 295 km from the Rybach’e railroad station, with which it is linked by vehicular transportation. Coal is mined in the vicinity of Dzhergalan.
