Location:Northeast of Stockton, 4 miles northeast of Arnold on Highway 4.

Special Features:Located on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada, the park featurestwo large groves of some of the oldest living redwoods in California.The North Grove includes the "Discovery Tree," the first Sierra redwoodnoted by Augustus T. Dowd in 1852.
