Frankfurt Stock Exchange

One of the oldest and most prominent stock exchanges in the world. Tracing its origins to the ninth century, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange was one of the first exchanges to trade in currencies as early as the late 16th century. Today, a sizable percentage of European trading and upwards of 90% of German trading occurs on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. It is owned and operated by Deutsche Borse.

One of the world's largest securities exchanges that provides both floor and electronic trading facilities. The Frankfurt Stock Exchange was founded in 1585 and is operated by Deutsche Borse AG.
