Location:5 miles southeast of Brannan Island between False River and Bethel Island; accessible by boat only.
Facilities:Undeveloped.
Activities:Fishing, waterfowl hunting (with restrictions), swimming, boat-in camping.
Special Features:Franks Tract flooded twice during the 1930s and today most of the area remains underwater. The tract is located in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta along the Pacific flyway. During the fall and winter months, a large variety of migrating waterfowl can be found here. Year-round residents include gulls, great blue herons, terns, swallows, crows, blackbirds, cormorants, and kingfishers.
