Arkhitektura SSSR
an illustrated magazine, organ of the State Committee on Civil Construction and Architecture Under Gosstroi (the State Committee on Construction) of the USSR and the Architects’ Union of the USSR. Published in Moscow monthly from July 1933 through June 1941, periodically (18 issues) from 1942 through 1947, not published from 1948 through 1951, and published monthly again since 1951.
Arkhitektura SSSR deals with questions of modern city planning; residential, industrial, and rural architecture; mass planning; and the history and theory of architecture and construction. Its circulation (as of Jan. 1, 1970) was more than 22,000.
