(Archive Service), journal published by the USSR and RSFSR central archive organizations from 1923 to 1941 (except 1934); 58 issues were published. The journal printed resolutions and instructions on archive service, discussed the state of archives in the USSR and abroad and questions of methods, and printed surveys of publications of documents, reviews of Soviet and foreign books on archive service, information on the publications of central archives, and news about work of archives.
