Gordon, Charles William,

Ralph Connor,

1860–1937, Canadian clergyman and novelist. His popular stories were based on his experience as a Presbyterian missionary in the lumber and mining camps of the Canadian Northwest. Of the long list of his somewhat didactic and romantic novels, the most widely read are The Sky Pilot (1899) and The Man from Glengarry (1901).
