Gaurdak

an urban-type settlement in Charshanga Raion, Chardzhou Oblast, Turkmen SSR, in the foothills of the Kugitangtau Range. Population, 11,000(1970).

Gaurdak is connected to the station at Mukry, 55 km away, by a branch of the Karshi-Termez railway line. Gaurdak is the location of a sulfur combine.
