The first Samsung Galaxy S smartphone with a screen that wraps slightly around the left and right side of the device. Introduced with the Galaxy S6 in April 2015, both having the same 5.1" screen, a slightly heavier Plus model (S6 Edge+) came out four months later. The Plus has a 5.7" screen, 4GB or RAM instead of 3GB and boosting storage from 64GB to 128GB. See Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S.
