Gidrotekhnika i Melioratsiia

(Hydraulic Engineering and Land Reclamation), a monthly scientific-educational journal of the Ministry of Agriculture of the USSR and the Ministry of Land Reclamation and Water Use Management of the USSR. It has been published in Moscow since April 1949. The journal is intended for scientific workers, hydraulic engineers, reclamation workers, mechanization experts, agronomists, teachers and students of hydraulic reclamation institutions of higher learning, and kolkhoz and sovkhoz specialists. It publishes scientific and production articles on questions of irrigation, drainage, agricultural water supply, and mechanization of reclamation works. As of 1971 its circulation was 20,000 copies.
