Location:3 miles west of Fremont, off US 30.
Facilities:812 campsites (200 camping pads with electrical hookups; 12 non-padsites with electrical hookups), modern restrooms as well as latrinebuildings, showers, picnic areas, 5 picnic shelters, playgroundequipment, 6 boat ramps, 3 docks, fishing pier (é), 4 swimmingbeaches, country store, food concession.
Activities:Camping, boating (all types), water-skiing, fishing, swimming.
Special Features:Fremont's 20 sandpit lakes offer a variety of water recreationactivities. One of the lakes has been specially redesigned for use bypersonal watercraft, and a ramp has been installed to allow thewatercraft to back into the water.
