Goriun
Goriun
(also Gorin or Garin), a river in Khabarovsk Krai, RSFSR, a left tributary of the Amur River. It is 390 km long and drains an area of 22,400 sq km. The Goriun originates in the Badzhal’sk Range; in its upper reaches it is a mountain-type river. In the lower reaches, the valley of the Goriun widens and the current slows down. The river is fed largely by rain. The river basin has close to 900 lakes, with a total area of 221 sq km. The major tributaries are the Boktor and Kharpin on the left and the Khurmuli on the right.
