Gill, Gordon

(1964–)Canadian American architect and an associate partner in the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, where he led design teams on award-winning projects such as the Virginia Beach Convention Center, Virginia Beach, VA and the Pearl River Tower, Guangzhou, China. After working with Adrian Smith and Robert Forest at SOM, the three opened their own firm in 2006 to pursue the design of high-performance, energy-efficient, and sustainable architecture, such as the Masdar City Headquarters Building, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
