Gorlin cyst

(gor′lin) [Robert James Gorlin, U.S. oral pathologist, 1923–2006] A benign cystic lesion of dental embyological origin that may occasionally undergo transformation into a malignancy. Pathological examination of the cyst reveals a characteristic ghost body.
