Gaptrakhman Faizurakhmanovich Kadyrov

Born Jan. 27, 1941, in Shatura, Moscow Oblast. Soviet athlete, motor racer, Honored Master of Sport (1965), and trainer. Champion of the USSR (1964, 1969–70), Europe (1964), and the world (1966, 1968–69, 1971–72) in motor races on an ice track. He has been awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor.
