Gniloi Tikich

 

or Gnilok, a river in the Kiev and Cherkassy oblasts, Ukrainian SSR; the left branch of the Tikich River (Iuzhnyi Bug basin). It originates in the hills of the Dnieper region. Length, 157 km; basin area, 3,150 sq km. It is fed chiefly by melting snow, and its middle course sometimes dries up during the summer. The Lotashevskii Hydroelectric Power Plant is located on the Gniloi Tikich.
