Garcia Lorca
Gar·cí·a Lor·ca G0041000 (gär-sē′ə lôr′kä, gär-thē′ä), Federico 1898-1936. Spanish modernist writer noted both for his poetry, collected in volumes such as Lament for the Death of a Bullfighter and Other Poems (1937) and Poet in New York (1940), and for his folk dramas, including Blood Wedding (1932) and The House of Bernarda Alba (1936).
