Geigel reflex

(gī′gĕl) [Richard Geigel, Ger. physician, 1859–1930] A reflex produced in the female when the inner anterior aspect of the upper thigh is stroked. It involves contraction of muscular fibers adjacent to the superior portion of Poupart's ligaments. This reflex corresponds to the male cremasteric reflex.
