Gooseneck Sign

A sign caused by the distorted left ventricular outflow tract which is seen by selective left ventricular angiography (ventriculography) in patients with partial atrioventricular (AV) canal (endocardial cushion) defect, ostium primum and common AV valve, where the failure of the endocardial cushions to fuse produces an abnormally low AV valve with an abnormally high anterior position of the aortic valve
