Gashunhu
Gashunhu
a landlocked salt lake in China, on the northern edge of the Boluowulashan Desert, at an altitude of 820 m. Like the neighboring Suoguohu Lake, separated from it by a ridge of dunes and barchans, it is fed by waters from the Ruoshui River (Etzin-Gol). The total area of the two lakes is 350 sq km. The depth and area of each lake is subject to significant variations depending on the direction of the flow of the Ruoshui River.
