Group of Eleven

Also called the G-11. An informal group of developing nations seeking to reduce their collective debt burden so they can use their resources to pursue economic growth. The G-11 works with the G-8 (which consists primarily of the wealthiest countries) to achieve this goal. It was established in 2006. Members include Croatia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Georgia, Honduras, Indonesia, Jordan, Morocco, Pakistan, Paraguay and Sri Lanka.
