HM Ministry of Justice HM Ministry of JusticeA department of the British government responsible for administering the British (and in some cases only the English and Welsh) justice system. It prosecutes criminal cases, hears appeals of immigration decisions, handles civil liberty issues, advises the government on sentencing and penalty laws, and has other similar responsibilities. It also advises the government on matters relating to the British constitution. The Ministry of Justice was created in 2007. |
