Iakkabag

a city under oblast jurisdiction (since March 20, 1978) and administrative center of Iakkabag Raion, Kashkadar’ia Oblast, Uzbek SSR. Railroad station (Iakkabag) on the Karshi-Kitab branch line, 90 km east of Karshi. Population, 7,800 (1975). The settlement has a cotton-ginning plant.
