Baryshevka

an urban-type settlement, center of Baryshevka Raion, Kiev Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, located on the Trubezh River (basin of the Dnieper). It has a railroad station. Population, 7,300 (1968). There are leather, dairy, and fruit-preserve plants. Peat is extracted near Baryshevka.
